Submission Requirements

  1. Submission Guidelines:
    • Submitted papers must be the original work of the authors
    • Papers must not have been previously published or be under review for publication elsewhere
    • Authors are invited to submit abstracts of 1,000–1,500 words
    • All submitted abstracts will undergo a blind review process
    • Authors of accepted abstracts will be notified and invited to submit their full papers for final review
    • Full papers accepted through the final review process will be presented at the conference
    • Conference participation certificates will be issued upon request to registered authors only
  2. Extended Abstract Formatting Guidelines:
    • Extended Abstract Format: Single Column, A4 size, and 1.5 line spacing
    • Font Style: Times New Roman (size 12)
    • Word limit: Between 1000-1500 words (APA 7th Edition)
    • First Page: (1) Title, (2) Author(s) Name(s), and (3) Affiliation(s), with (4) contact email address and phone number
    • Second Page: (1) Title, (2) Abstract, and (3) Keywords (3-5)
    • The abstract should be emailed to conference@som.tu.edu.np
    *Note: Abstract should include Introduction – Research Methods – Findings/Results – Discussions/Implications
  3. Paper Formatting Guidelines

    • Word limit: Maximum 8000 words, including all tables and figures, excluding references (APA 7th Edition)
    • First Page: (1) Title, (2) Author(s) Name(s), and (3) Affiliation(s), with (4) contact email address and phone number
    • Second Page: (1) Title, (2) Abstract, (3) Keywords (3-5) followed by (4) the main text.Subheadings: Introduction and Research Background – Research Objectives – Research Methods – Findings- Conclusion – Implications for Future Research and Practices – References
    • The paper should be emailed to conference@som.tu.edu.np
    *Only accepted full papers will be considered for publication in conference proceedings (only abstract) and presentation at the conference.

Publication Opportunity

  1. Selected papers may be published in the SOMTU Journal of Business and Management Research (Tribhuvan University, Nepal) and the Journal of Social Innovation, Education and Research (Handong Global University Journal) in 2027.
  2. After the conference, selected papers will be considered for publication following each journal's policies and review process.
  3. Corresponding authors will be notified to submit final versions for further review, with selection based on presentation quality and reviewer evaluation.

Notes

  1. Abstracts of accepted papers will be included in the official conference proceedings.
  2. Among accepted papers, outstanding papers will be invited to be submitted to an expedited review process for publication in our partner journals, the SOMTU Journal of Business and Management Research and the Journal of Social Innovation, Education and Research (JoSIER).
