About the Conference

This is the 6^th UNITWIN SIERA International Conference and 2^nd SOMTU International Conference, a joint academic conference organized by UNESCO UNITWIN, Handong Global University (South Korea), the School of Management, Tribhuvan University (SOMTU, Nepal), the University of the Assumption (the Philippines), and the University of Finance and Economics (Mongolia), and sponsored by the Ministry of Education, Republic of Korea.

The conference will be held on November 5, 2026, in Kathmandu, Nepal, bringing together professors, researchers, industry leaders, social innovators, policymakers, and students from around the world to share experiences, present new ideas, and engage in meaningful dialogue. Through keynote sessions, panel discussions, and collaborative exchanges, participants will explore practical challenges and solutions surrounding the responsible use of artificial intelligence, with a focus on how AI can drive inclusive growth, social innovation, and sustainable development. Together, participants will contribute to shaping a better, more equitable world.

How do I submit a paper?

All submissions must be made through our official online portal in PDF or Word Format. Email submission will not be accepted.

Will accepted papers be published?

Yes, all accepted abstracts will be published in the Conference Proceedings.

Can I present online (virtually)?

All presenters are required to be physically present at the conference venue in Kathmandu, Nepal, to deliver their presentations.

Can I submit more than one paper?

Yes, you may submit multiple abstracts. However, if accepted for oral presentation, you will be permitted only one oral presentation.

Do I need a visa to attend?

Visa-on-arrival is available for most nationalities at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival.
